Each May the American Art Awards organization selects the 25 Best Galleries and Museums in America, then in autumn these revered art institutions vote on online art to decide the world’s best contemporary artists.

America’s Best Galleries & Museums scored almost 2,000 works in 50 categories from 64 countries.

Winners in Category 37 are from CHINA, CANADA, ITALY, REPUBLIC OF KOREA, INDIA & CYPRUS.

BIO OF 1ST PLACE WINNER: Xiaomang Gu, the founder of JiuSan Chongqing Painting and Calligraphy Academy, The curator at Chongqing Shanghe Street Art Museum, Member of American acrylic Oil Painters Association, now lives in Chongqing.

Born in 1969 in Chongqing , he learned comic and watercolor painting from his father at a very young age. he was admitted by Sichuan Fine Arts Academy in1993, and after graduation, he was assigned to the position of art teacher of the Chongqing Jianshe №1 Middle School.

《Cotton Dam Street Group of paintings》《 Suitcase》《 Ran Girl》 and other works made their debut in Chongqing “ Two Factory ·T² International Contemporary Art Center” in September 2019, and some of their works were collected by famous institutions and celebrities in Mainland China and Hong Kong. In the beginning of 2020, some works in the exhibition online overseas.
