Each May the American Art Awards organization selects the 25 Best Galleries and Museums in America, then in autumn these revered art institutions vote on online art to decide the world’s best contemporary artists.

America’s Best Galleries & Museums scored almost 2,000 works in 50 categories from 64 countries.

Winners in Category 44 are from CANADA, USA & SOUTH KOREA.

BIO OF 1ST PLACE WINNER: Jesse Irwin is a born and raised Calgarian. She has lived in Calgary Alberta her whole life, but she loves to travel to different cities and countries around the world, not only to explore the different cultures but because she is visually stimulated by the unique contrast of different people, architecture, wildlife and landscape.

Jesse bought her first DSLR camera around 2010 and completely fell in love with digital photography.

Jesse considers herself a landscape photographer and has a deep passion for shooting old or abandoned towns and buildings. Her love of artistic expression and creativity has also driven her to challenge herself in other fields such as nightlife/club life and wedding photography. And she has recently stepped in to the real estate photography world.

“Photography is my passion, I feel like it was what I was meant to do. It’s the one thing I can say I am good at and I won’t be putting down my camera anytime soon”

You will be able to see Jesse Irwin’s work on her website NakedEYE Photography (coming soon.) Or at GuruShots — Photography by Gurushots Ltd. jesseirwin1981@hotmail.com
