Still Life impressionists from Australia, USA, Sweden, China and Northern Ireland claim highest scores in Category 23 of the 2018 AMERICAN ART AWARDS.

This year the American Art Awards (www.AmericanArtAwards.com), juried by the 25 Best Galleries & Museums In America (listed below), had online art images in 50 categories submitted from artists in 59 countries: Afghanistan, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, El Salvador, England, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Ghana, Great Britain, Greece, Haiti, Iceland, India, Iran, Iraq, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malaysia, Mexico, Myanmar, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Serbia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, UK, Ukraine, USA, Venezuela.

The 1st Place to 6th Place winners in all 50 categories will be revealed in the news about a category a day — stretching into November, making this one of the longest winner announcements of any art competition in the world.

Li Xiao Zheng: Australian Chinese oil painter. He joined the Beijing Artists Association in 1983 and studied oil painting at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, the Oil Painting Department of the Capital Normal University, and the Art School of the University of New South Wales.

In 2008, Li Xiao Zheng created an art district, a studio and his own art gallery in Songzhuang, Beijing, and held his own exhibition every two years.

He studied the still life, scenery and characters under his brush in his sketching, especially in the creation of still life, to accomplish representative achievements. Li Xiao Zheng constantly discovers the beauty of life with an honest and delicate attitude. With deep and solid painting skills, rich creative emotions and perseverance, he pursues and realizes the ideal of classical oil painting art. His work is plain, but full of freshness, elegance and tranquility, always giving people the power to go up.

In 1983 Li Xiaozheng was a solo exhibition in Beijing; 1989 Li Xiaozheng Sydney Solo Exhibition; 2012 Sichuan Fine Arts Publishing House published a book entitled “Life through Brush Strokes-Li Xiaozheng’s Oil Paintings”. In 2014, the work “Natural Light” was selected for the 12th National Art Exhibition in China. 2016: Australia’s First Chinese Art Achievement Exhibition — Review and Outlook (Sydney). In 2018, the work “Before the high tide — Huian Fishing Boat” was selected in Richeson 75- Landscape show and exhibited in the United States for two months. Also in 2018, the work “Light,” “Window Woman” and “YingZi” won the first prize of the American Art Awards for the impressionism still life, the second prize for the erotic-female,and the fifth for the impressionism human.
