Each May the American Art Awards organization selects the 25 Best Galleries and Museums in America, then in autumn these revered art institutions vote on online art to decide the world’s best contemporary artists.

America’s Best Galleries scored almost 2,000 works in 50 categories from 64 countries.

Winners in this category are from LITHUANIA, USA, SPAIN, UKRAINE, POLAND, CHINA & ISRAEL.

BIO OF 1ST PLACE WINNER: Jonas Kunickas, Born: 1978, Kaunas (Lithuania);

1996–2002 studies of Architecture in Kaunas University of Technology. Graduated as Master of Architecture in 2002;

2002–2012 Working as an architect and interior designer in Lithuania and United Kingdom;

In 2013 gave up previous occupation and started to work as a full time artist-painter… Working on figurative oil paintings ever since.

“I have fallen in love with a painting much earlier than I have started a primary school. I have been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember my self.”
