Artists from 72 countries competed in the 2023 AMERICAN ART AWARDS. Twenty of the most revered galleries in the USA were sent around 2,000 online images to score in drawing, painting, sculpture, digital and photography. The 300+ winning works, 1st to 6th Place (and ties) in all 50 categories, can be seen in this series of articles.

BIO OF 1ST PLACE WINNER: Anna Liezelle M. Tumbali
I started drawing since am three (3) years old. Art is a talent since my childhood, teenage days and up to present. I graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in Literature. I’m also holding a degree in Master in Business Administration (MBA).
I’m also into managing our family business of Commercial building for rent. Though, am just waiting for rental payments as a Landlord, I spent my time daily in drawing, painting and doing my artworks. I was a former Lecturer and Assistant Professor in Marketing and Management in Colleges and University in Manila. I draw and paint on canvas (huge, medium and small) and watercolor pads. My mediums are oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel and charcoal painting.
I do live art drawing and painting on my facebook account Artsincolors Annapaints. I also do lazy minting of my art works as Non Fungible Token (NFT) at OpenSea. Art is my love and passion. I’m an introvert and I love my own space being alone so I can concentrate on my next art projects.
