Artists from 64 countries competed in the 2024 AMERICAN ART AWARDS where 20 of the most revered galleries in the USA were sent online images to score in drawing, painting, sculpture, digital and photography. The 300+ winning works, 1st to 6th Place (and ties) in all 50 categories, will be featured in an upcoming movie and 75 articles.

BIO OF 1ST PLACE WINNER:

Tomas Gilvonauskas (Gilvonas) was born in 1987 in Lithuania. In 2010, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Engineering from Vilnius Technical University, and since 2011, he has been working as a software engineer. Gilvonas began his painting journey in 2019, seeking to resolve his personal existential crisis. He calls himself a “naivistic surrealist” and says that he takes most of his inspirations from nightdreams. His previous most notable achievements are: “Luxembourg Art Prize 2022 — Certificate of Artistic Achievement”, and “American Art Awards 2023” — 3rd place in the category “Other Naive Art” with the artwork “Ship Above Tallinn”. https://tumblr.com/gilvonas
