“I have always been captivated by lines, the determined marks that dig deep into the paper or leave hints of trajectories on its surface, akin to shooting stars. These lines can be combined to create illusions of edges, curved surfaces, and indentations, capturing the effects of weathering and the tension inherent in the process of life unfolding.
To truly understand an artist, one must study their drawings. It is in these sketches that their creative process, aspirations, challenges, frustrations, and often exceptional technique are unveiled.“
