World’s Best Humor Artists Named By America’s 25 Best Galleries: MACGILLIVRAY, PARK, KURZEMNIECE, REYMORE, WILSON, CHO, KIM, SCHMIDT, CHEN, GERALD, WALKER & LI/ 2021 AMERICAN ART AWARDS

Each May the American Art Awards organization selects the 25 Best Galleries and Museums in America, then in autumn these revered art institutions vote on online art to decide the world’s best contemporary artists.

America’s Best Galleries & Museums scored almost 2,000 works in 50 categories from 64 countries.

Winners in this category are from CANADA, USA, LATVIA, GERMANY & CHINA.

BIO OF 1ST PLACE WINNER: Sandra MacGillivray Award-winning Canadian Artists, an accredited member of Federation of Canadian Artists — FCA, the Portrait Society of Canada and graduate of Sheridan College Institute of Design and Technology.

Her paintings are collected nationally and internationally. Sandra has been published in Arabella Art Magazine, has been awarded 1st place with the American Art Awards multiple times, she is also winner of the Emily Carr Legacy Award.

Sandra paints in a realistic style capturing the emotion and mood of her subject. Through colour, texture and detail, her paintings capture the subject’s story and a moment in time, compelling the viewer to stop and be inspired. The paintings allow her audience to enter into a journey and share for just a little while the reason the piece of art was created.

“My goal is always to engage with the viewer. Otherwise it is merely paint on canvas.”
