Each May the American Art Awards organization selects the 25 Best Galleries and Museums in America, then in autumn these revered art institutions vote on online art to decide the world’s best contemporary artists.

America’s Best Galleries scored almost 2,000 works in 50 categories from 64 countries.

Winners in this category are from LITHUANIA, CHINA, RUSSIA, USA, TAIWAN, CANADA & UKRAINE.

BIO OF 1ST PLACE WINNER: Danguole has lifelong experience as an artist, with skills ranging from academic art to expressionism and abstract paintings. Danguole has been fighting cancer for 14 years and despite undergoing brain surgery in 2016, she continues to paint and express herself artistically with relentless motivation, hoping that she can serve as inspiration for others to take life’s difficulties head-on and persist on realizing themselves and their visions.

About artwork “Ease”: For many years I was fighting cancer and recently reached remission so the flower painting symbolizes liberation and freedom from the disease, it reflects my feeling. https://petdrawings.net
