BIO OF 1ST PLACE WINNER: MARGIT C. EGG. I am an autodidact painter, who started as a kid, using oil colors at the age of 8. I stopped painting at the age of 11 and restarted at the age of 54, in 2020, because of the isolation during that time. During this long break I became a scientist of Biology at the University of Innsbruck and mother of two children. In my free time I love to paint faces with special emphasis on the expression of emotions. This is the way I feel to connect best with people, easier than with words.
