RA Powell’s artistic journey had its roots in his early years, where he was inspired by his uncle, a New York Commercial Artist. This influence motivated him to delve into the world of creativity through art. Powell’s initial foray into art involved drawing cartoons and lettering, which likely served as a foundation for his future artistic endeavors. As he continued to nurture his talents, Powell pursued further development in the field of art by attending Florida A & M University in Tallahassee, Florida.
At the university, he studied both Architectural Engineering and Fine Arts, which suggests a well-rounded approach to his artistic education.
