20 of USA’s Best Galleries & Museums vote in the AMERICAN ART AWARDS, arguably the most prestigious online art competition. In 2022, painters, sketchers, digital artists, photographers and sculptors from 69 countries submitted JPEGs for the 50 categories — to win gallery affiliation, career launch, high scores, great press and/or $5,000 in prizes.

Here are the winners in CATEGORY 19, HUMOR / WIT.

1st Place Bio: GARY BLYTHE

A multi award winning artist with a career spanning close to four decades, his work has been published and exhibited widely, and can be found in private collections in the UK and US. https://garyblythe.com/

1st Place Bio: HEEJAE KIM

…a current junior at River Dell Regional High School, a Korean-American student artist. She has been creating art since the age of 5, exploring many mediums including, but not limited to acrylic painting, watercolor, printmaking, collage, mixed media and colored pencils. Heejae finds comfort and joy in art, as well as the people around her, regularly working on new pieces or revisiting old ones, inspired by the support of her peers.
