20 of USA’s Best Galleries & Museums vote in the AMERICAN ART AWARDS, arguably the most prestigious online art competition. In 2022, painters, sketchers, digital artists, photographers and sculptors from 69 countries submitted JPEGs for the 50 categories — to win gallery affiliation, career launch, high scores, great press and/or $5,000 in prizes.

1st Place Bio: R.D. Mitchell
After four decades as a top-tier advertising and graphic design professional, R.D. (Dick) Mitchell transitioned to painting in earnest in 2017. He is a two time gold medal winner with The New York Art Directors Club. He served as a judge for Communication Arts Design Annual and the American Institute of Graphic Arts Annual.
