Artists from 79 countries competed in the 2023 WORLD ART AWARDS where 20 of the most revered galleries in the world were sent online images to score in drawing, painting, sculpture, digital and photography.

BIO OF 1ST PLACE WINNER: LINDA MCCORD

Born in California, Linda McCord now resides in Washington State. She works in most of the two-dimensional mediums and does fashion design in nuno felt. Once a medium becomes easy, she moves on to a new medium or revisits a medium to try new challenges. She was a gallery owner for 10 years, and taught painting and printmaking at her local college. Although McCord is mostly self-taught, she has taken numerous international awards including the prestigious gold award at MiKiHASi, Memories, international Film online exhibit for her “In the 90's” watercolor series. Her art is in the collection of museums, churches, hospitals, and colleges. She is a signature member of the International Society of Acrylic Painters, Northwest Watercolor Society, Georgia Watercolor Society and California Watercolor Association. I am an Artist, currently living in Brampton, Ontario, Canada with my lovely wife and business partner Aida and our 3 yr old son Dylan. I have been drawing, painting, illustrating since i could hold a pencil! Music, classic movies, movie and Rock stars play a big part in my illustrations and renderings. Most of my work are Watercolour, but I can work comfortably in different mediums Acrylic, Oil, Pencil, etc….. I can be commissioned for that one of a kind portrait, project, what ver it is that needs an artists touch ?
