Artists from 79 countries competed in the 2023 WORLD ART AWARDS where 20 of the most revered galleries in the world were sent online images to score in drawing, painting, sculpture, digital and photography.

BIO OF 1ST PLACE WINNER: Kenneth Cjay is a Visual Artist, an Entrepreneur, a Rapper (Hip-hop) and also an Architect by profession from Nigeria.

He is known for his hyper realistic pencil and charcoal portraits of human subjects that embody the complex emotions associated with Life experience.

Kenneth began drawing at the age of six, using graphite pencils. The self-taught artist developed his photorealistic style by employing what he calls the three Ps: patience, practice, and persistence.

Kenneth is now working in a genre of Art known as Hyper-Realism. He creates handmade realistic portraits on paper, using charcoal, graphite and coloured pencil.

He loves to create something that can give different meaning and emotions to different people. Love how people see what he does so differently. He’s fascinated by humans, flowers, different cultures, life experiences and so much more.
