The WORLD ART AWARDS winners in CATEGORY 21: IMPRESSIONISM / FIGURE live in USA, FRANCE, SOUTH AFRICA, CANADA, CHINA & NEW ZEALAND.

Artists from 79 countries competed in the 2023 WORLD ART AWARDS where 20 of the most revered galleries in the world were sent online images to score in drawing, painting, sculpture, digital and photography.

BIO OF 1ST PLACE WINNER: HUGO KELLER

While attending college, art was only a hobby of mine but I decided to take several art classes anyway, just for fun. That’s when my eyes were opened to so many possibilities. The more I watched others, the more I learned and the more I learned, the more comfortable I felt trying new and different techniques. I have always loved painting and have shipped my works to all 50 states and across dozens of countries.

I have participated in many art shows and exhibits throughout the country but I’m also quite overly shy by nature and try to generally stay out of public view letting my art do all of the speaking for me. After taking advice from a few friends, I eventually set up a website and began posting on social media. That’s where everything exploded for me and just really took off. I started getting sales from my website almost immediately and began building an ever increasing fan base on social media. Since then, I’ve never felt freer to explore and try new things. Each and every one of my artworks reflects my sensitivity, feelings and passion from my soul. www.hugokellerart.com
