The WORLD ART AWARDS winners in CATEGORY 13: EXPRESSIONISM-OTHER live in USA, INDIA, POLAND, INDIA, CANADA, BELARUS, CHINA & LITHUANIA.

Artists from 79 countries competed in the 2023 WORLD ART AWARDS where 20 of the most revered galleries in the world were sent online images to score in drawing, painting, sculpture, digital and photography.

BIO OF 1ST PLACE WINNER: A direct descendant of Alfred Worsley Holdstock, Susan Moore is a 5th generation artist studied in Sculpting — wood, clay / Leather and bead work / Textile design / Leaded and foil stain glass / Commercial art “signage.” In her youth she met Salvador Dali when he was in San Francisco, demonstrating the process he used to transfer an image from one painting to another, which inspired her.

This artist has also taught painting with acrylic, oil, gouache, and water color to both adults and children, and believes art is something you continue to learn throughout your life, and is a lifetime student, always looking for her next inspiration. “Art is an illusion, life is but a dream.”

Though she has suffered a serious spine injury, she is still able to succeed in astounding and amusing, as well as puzzling the public, with unexpected metamorphoses of her imagination as seen in her work creating a masterfully visual sleight of hand converting ordinary visual facts into something extraordinary with a strong use of symbolism in the pictorial riddles and haunting scenes with philosophical and poetic content. https://www.foreverendeavor.us/
