Best Gallery In United Kingdom: Miart Gallery London / 2024 WORLD ART AWARDS
The World Art Awards has announced the 20 Best International Galleries and/or Museums for the year 2024, with Miart Gallery London receiving the award for the Best Gallery in England. Selections are based on years established, industry reputation, location, size, aesthetics, socially relevant exhibits, motivational and educational programs, online presence, represented artists — and references from artists, clients, and visitors.
World Art Awards: “Having just been awarded the title, ‘Best Gallery in UK 2024’ and among The 20 Best Galleries and Museums In The World, by the World Art Awards, amongst being named as one of the top 10 galleries in London 2022, Miart Gallery is not one to miss.
“Miart Gallery London is a spectacular 500 sqm Contemporary and Modern Art centre located on St. James’s Street, Mayfair. Located in the heart of Central London, there is a vibrant atmosphere of culture and creativity which Miart Gallery embraces and encourages.
“Due to having various sized exhibition halls on three separate floors, Miart Gallery can host several exhibitions independent from each other at the same time. Throughout these three floors they host exhibitions that display fine examples of contemporary Eastern and Western art, comprising of paintings, sculptures, photographs, and video pieces.
“As a gallery that has adopted the principle of art’s supremacy to discriminatory concepts such as religion, language, and race, Miart Gallery London stands at the centre of this synthesis and undertakes a social task in both artistic and cultural terms.”
Miart showcases both established and emerging artists, ensuring that there will be something in each exhibition for everyone. Miart Gallery has exhibited works by renown artists such as Banksy, Lorenzo Quinn and Beto Gatti.
Upcoming exhibitions include a solo exhibition by Michael Gregorjev Murn, a hyper-creative with an opus of over 5,000 artworks, created through an array of mediums, showcasing works from sculptures to abstract portraiture. This exhibition will be an exciting feature alongside the longstanding Auguste Rodin exhibition at Miart Gallery.

World Art Awards: “This year we awarded art establishments with buildings hundreds of years old presenting Old Master originals, and conversely we selected new boundary-pushing art facilities. We opted for many high-rated private galleries representing important young work, from painting to digital to photography to sculpture. Most of these focus on advancing their regional artists, be they Burmese, Chilean, Colombian, Georgian, Latvian, Malaysian, Moroccan, Japanese, Portuguese, African, American, Latin American or Native-American.
“Our diversified roster this year includes a renowned three-story London showplace and a Prague institution (offering Czech legends of the 19th-20th century as well as European masters like Renoir, Chagall and Picasso). We chose an Australian gallery made of Australian materials specializing in Australian wood sculpture — and the only gallery in Taiwan that has focused on the art of photography for over 15 years. We also tributed large, modern art facilities with influential international presences in Morocco, Japan, Israel and USA.”
