For 12 years, American Art Awards has decided the 25 Best Galleries and Museums in America. Among the criteria: years in business, industry reputation, online activity, location, size, exhibits, educational programs, represented artists and references from artists, clients and visitors. Each year only one gallery or museum per state in 25 states is selected.

Celebrating their 23rd year in business, MAC represents many of the world’s most accomplished artists and publishes the finest quality limited edition prints for some of the art industries most recognized names. MAC Fine Art provides artwork to private collectors as well as other art dealers, galleries, designers, architects & consultants. MAC artists’ works are sold internationally, and many works are in private collections as well as in the permanent collections of museums, hotels, restaurants, corporations, public and private buildings, and luxury cruise ships.
MAC’s main gallery is over 12,000 sq. ft. in the heart of Ft Lauderdale where the company anchors a unique creative arts district called MASS which hosts monthly art walks and creative events. In 2017 MAC spearheaded and organized COAT, an ambitious international mural project that has become the face of the growing MASS district attracting thousands of art patrons who attend MAC’s monthly exhibitions of world-class artists in one of the largest exhibition spaces in South Florida. This MAC space displays work by an international roster of accomplished artists that includes many of the top artists exhibiting in Art Fairs throughout the world. Additionally, MAC maintains an in-house Multimedia Department complete with a digital photography studio, a state-of-the-art Gicleé printing facility, and a computer-graphic/prepress department. The space also features a custom design frame shop and shipping department, which allows for even greater quality control, giving the gallery full oversight of the collecting process, from initial contact through to the finish, delivery and installation of the artwork.
The Fort Lauderdale location is ideal for private collectors and art professionals and can satisfy virtually any fine art request, publishing project or installation specification. In addition, its proximity to South Florida’s most important Art Fairs including Art Basel & Art Miami make it a vital part of the growing art culture in South Florida. In 2017, MAC added two more beautiful gallery locations in Jupiter, Florida. The Jupiter spaces service MAC’s growing list of collectors and designers from the greater Palm Beach area, plus host an innovative calendar of exhibitions through-out the year including a spectacular show of rare Salvador Dali artworks along with 30 original contemporary interpretations of those specific Dali images.
ABOUT MARY ANN COHEN:
MAC Art was founded in 1997 by Mary Ann Cohen, one of the nation’s most successful and respected art dealers with over 35 years of international fine art experience. Mary Ann attended the School of Visual Arts in NYC and has her BFA and a secondary teaching degree from Cal State LA. In the late 1980’s Cohen established a successful gallery in Malibu California, catering to many of Hollywood’s biggest names including Michael Bay, Janet Jackson, Paul Maslansky, Cindy Adams, Charles Bronson and Joan Rivers. By the early 1990’s she had made the transition from local gallery owner to national dealer and fine art publisher, representing many well-known international artists.
Many of the industry’s top executives seek Cohen’s council for her comprehensive experience in artist representation and fine art publishing. In addition to being a visual art entrepreneur, she has also been the driving force in the development of an impressive list of well-established artists with whom she has either represented or exhibited, including such notables as:
