25 BEST GALLERIES NAME 2019’S BEST POP ARTISTS: CREE, HUISKENS, ARNOLD, DEYHIM, OK, RHODES, BOBBYBAUT, ROWAN, MERCER, SHI
Painters, photographers, sculptors and digital artists from 63 countries competed in the most prestigious online art call, AMERICAN ART AWARDS, https://www.americanartawards.com/, where America’s 25 best galleries and museums score art in 50 categories. In this column, I’ll reveal the world’s best contemporary artists of 2019 one category at a time.
There were so many brilliant works entered that America’s top 25 galleries and museums had a hard time deciding, consequently many phenomenal pieces did not get enough votes to be winners this year — however the featured works in this article received the most votes and won 1st to 6th Place in the 2019 AMERICAN ART AWARDS. Congratulations to all these artists for scoring above the stiff competition.
BIO OF 1ST PLACE WINNER OLGA CREE:
“I was born in a small town in Russia. I graduated from school and music college. At the age of 18, I dreamed of becoming a lawyer, moved to a big city and graduated from the State Law University. Despite a law degree, I was always attracted to creativity and painting. I did not even dream of becoming an artist, but I continued to paint from an early age. I never studied drawing, imagine? But I practiced every day painted portraits of people who inspire me.
“Since I liked portraits, I photographed a lot and opened my own photo studio. I became a photo artist. I took pictures of people and then painted them.
“Once I shared my artwork on social networks and received an order. So I realized that art is not just a dream, it is my future. At that time, I also worked as a commercial director of branded clothing boutiques. It was an amazing job. But I decided to quit my job, sell photo studio and devote all my time to painting.
“Now painting is my main occupation. I sell works to collectors and collaborate with various companies to create drawings for their product.
“I believe that AMERICAN ART AWARDS is a new stage in my creativity and development. Many thanks for this opportunity.” https://www.instagram.com/olgacree/
