2023 WORLD ART AWARDS Winners Of Cash Prizes: PURUSHOTHAMAN, MOORE, MONTILLA, LIU, STRASKA & SANCHEZ
The six cash prizes of arguably the most prestigious online art competition in the world go to fine artists in USA, India, Slovakia and China, winning in oil, acrylic, graphite and phosphorescent mediums.
Artists from 79 countries competed in the 2023 WORLD ART AWARDS where 20 of the most revered galleries in the world were sent online images to score in drawing, painting, sculpture, digital and photography. The 300+ winning works, 1st to 6th Place (and ties) in all 50 categories, will be featured in an upcoming movie and 75 articles.
“World Art Awards levels the playing field, so all artists have an equal opportunity,” explains World Art Awards, “This is why we only send the voting galleries and museums the artwork images, titles, sizes and mediums used. No photos of the artists or bios are allowed. It’s all about initial impact. However, if a gallery is so enamored with a piece, they are free to click on the artist’s web site link and contact them for representation.”
Winners of the 6 cash prizes are:
MOST WINS — 11 WINS — goes to INDIA’S CHAITALI. V. PURUSHOTHAMAN, a high-vibrational energy-shifting vastu painter.
The MASTERPIECE cash prize goes to SUSAN MOORE of USA for her “Bowl Of Cherries,” which won in 5 categories. The 40 inch acrylic on canvas features a happy girl with a balloon amongst garbaged streets and war-torn buildings.
BEST OF SHOW / Highest Score goes to RICKY MONTILLA of USA for a large realistic oil of spotted koi fish in a plastic bag, aptly titled “Controlled Movement.”
2nd HIGHEST SCORE IN CONTEST goes to SIHUA LIU of CHINA for “Crystal Ball And Flower.” The 15 inch realistic oil shows a pretty young woman holding a crystal ball to her face — on the other side of her face, a pink carnation levitates.
3RD HIGHEST SCORE IN CONTEST goes to MICHAL STRASKA of SLOVAKIA for his realistic 24 inch pencil landscape of “Water Mill In Jahodna.”
4th HIGHEST SCORE IN CONTEST goes to American BRIAN SANCHEZ for “Photoreactive Decomposition.” The 20 inch acrylic and phosphorescent paint on wooden panel is reminiscent of Gustav Klimt; an abstracted female amidst stones and shapes. Sanchez used glow in the dark paint for this enchanting piece to look different from day to night.
