The Top 20 Galleries + Museums Vote / 2022 Online American Art Awards
Each year by May, American Art Awards selects the 20 best galleries and museums in the nation. The board considers, among other criteria, years established, industry reputation, online buzz, location, size, socially relevant exhibits, motivational and educational programs, represented artists as well as artist, client and visitor references.
Starting late September, the media reveals 300+ winning artists in 50 categories — decided by these 20 galleries and museums.
The prestigious online art competition is open to all painters, photographers, sculptors and digital artists from all countries. The deadline to send in JPEGS is July 31, 2022 (but will be extended a week as documents are finalized and prepared).
IN ADDITION TO 6 CASH PRIZES: 100 NEWS ARTICLES will name all 1st to 6th Place winners in all 50 categories as BEST CONTEMPORARY ARTWORKS in their country, as well as in their category.
American Art Awards sends the 20 Best Galleries/Museums images to score and occasionally a gallery also contacts an artist for representation. American Art Awards does not guarantee that, and of course no artist has to accept gallery representation. It’s just a fantastic perk that happens once in a while.
